About the position

The Digital Graphic Designer at Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, plays a crucial role in creating original artwork and design that aligns with the company's brand strategy. This position involves a variety of projects, including digital publications, website content, social media posts across all channels, animations, advertising, and other related digital collateral that supports the enterprise. The designer will also be responsible for the migration, organization, and maintenance of a digital asset management system that is accessible to enterprise stakeholders. Familiarity with media production, including video for supporting town halls and podcasts, is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with other marketing resources and external agency partners. The role requires functioning as a team member within the department and organization, performing any assigned duties to best serve the company. In this position, the designer will create digital assets that support collateral, websites, social media, and online publications, as well as assist with email campaigns and sales initiatives. The designer will initiate, organize, and manage the digital asset management system, ensuring that all digital materials are easily accessible and well-maintained. Experience with video and editing equipment, as well as podcast execution, is also important. The designer must demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of multiple software platforms related to the creation and execution of digital material. Collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders is key to ensuring project goals are achieved, and the designer is expected to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for various marketing materials, including ads, brochures, signage, banners, emails, flyers, postcards, and social media graphics. Additionally, the designer will perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of digital assets supporting collateral, website, social media, and online publications as well as supporting email campaigns and sales initiatives
  • Initiation, organization and management of digital asset management system
  • Experience and familiarity with video and editing equipment and podcast execution
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of multiple software platforms related to creation and execution of digital material
  • Collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders on a project to ensure goal achievement
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for ads, brochures, signage, banners, emails, flyers, postcards, social media graphics, and other artwork
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, or similar field of study
  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience with illustration and concept layout design
  • Illustration and design experience with a strong portfolio of work
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to develop robust marketing campaign design systems and style guides
  • Must be able to collaborate and receive constructive feedback
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage many projects at once and meet tight deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and other professional programs
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
