About the position

The Digital Graphic Designer at Big Y Foods, Inc. is responsible for creating and producing graphic designs for both print and digital platforms. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience through visually appealing designs for weekly circulars, web design, and various creative projects. The designer will work collaboratively to meet evolving customer expectations and ensure high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce weekly circulars for print and digital distribution.
• Create circular page layouts and other graphic design projects.
• Develop web design and digital advertising assets as needed.
• Art direct food photoshoots when required.
• Brainstorm creative concepts and execute designs under pressure.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.

Requirements

• Some graphic design experience in a professional/creative setting.
• Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and comfortable working in a cloud-based environment.
• Proficient in print and digital design.
• Knowledge of web design is a plus.
• Ability to create assets for digital advertising and websites.
• Knowledge of color theory or color correction.
• Experience art directing food photoshoots is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
