About the position

The Digital Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and engaging content that aligns with our brands, including Ajinomoto, Jose Ole, Tai Pei, and Ling Ling. This position requires a creative individual who can collaborate closely with the marketing departments to develop creative assets that resonate with our brand identities and drive engagement across various digital platforms. The designer will be responsible for producing a wide range of visual content, ensuring that all materials are not only aesthetically pleasing but also consistent with the brand's messaging and visual identity. In this role, the designer will create visually striking graphics, images, and videos specifically tailored for our social media channels. This includes designing effective newsletters, promotional materials, and automated email campaigns aimed at engaging our consumers. The designer will also be tasked with developing and updating graphics for our branded websites and those of our retail partners, ensuring that all digital ads, including display ads and social media ads, are designed to meet the specific requirements of various platforms. Additionally, the designer will develop creative assets that support our content strategies, such as infographics, animations, and video graphics, to enhance engagement and shareability. Staying up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies is essential to ensure that our content remains fresh and innovative. The designer will also collaborate with internal teams to create assets for corporate communications, ensuring that all design projects maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually striking and brand-consistent graphics, images, and videos for our social media channels
  • Design effective newsletters, promotional, and automated email campaigns to engage with our consumers
  • Develop and update graphics for our branded websites and our retail partners
  • Design digital ads for various platforms including display ads, social media ads and paid advertising campaigns
  • Develop creative assets that support content strategies, such as infographics, animations, and video graphics, to boost engagement and shareability
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our content remains fresh and innovative
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all design projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop assets for corporate communications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of design experience
  • 2+ years of experience within the consumer-packaged goods or retail industry
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven experience with email marketing platforms
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their design requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing is preferred
  • Experience with AI is also preferred
