The Group Product Manager I-Agile plays a pivotal role in partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders to create innovative and engaging experiences for Truist clients. This position is responsible for defining, championing, building, delivering, and measuring products and platforms tailored for their specific segment. The individual in this role will manage and lead a team of high-performing product owners within the Digital Channel Payments space, ensuring that the products developed meet the needs of clients while aligning with the company's strategic goals. In this capacity, the Group Product Manager I-Agile will lead a team of product owners, setting clear direction and priorities for the development of products, services, and client experiences. A deep understanding of the industry landscape, competitive environment, and client feedback is essential to inform product strategy and execution. The manager will collaborate closely with the Payments Group Product Manager II to shape the product roadmap and ensure alignment across teams. The role involves managing teams that develop and refine the product backlog, translating high-level EPICS into actionable user stories in collaboration with various departments, including Lines of Business (LOB), User Experience/User Interface, Content, Technology, and Operations. Additionally, the Group Product Manager will work with Tech Agile teams on product development, rollout, and post-production support, ensuring that all aspects of product delivery are executed effectively. Collaboration with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams is also a critical component of this role, particularly in the context of new product development and necessary remediation efforts. The manager will partner with associated LOBs, marketing, operations, and readiness teams to ensure successful commercialization and rollout of products. Furthermore, the Group Product Manager will be accountable for the client experience, results, and key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with the assigned platforms. Budget management is another key responsibility, including monthly forecasting and resource allocation. The individual will also be tasked with hiring, mentoring, and managing team members, providing timely and constructive feedback to cultivate a strong talent pool and ensure effective succession planning. Ultimately, this role requires leading teams across various functions to support the successful deployment of new products and integrated client experiences.
