About the position

The Group Product Manager I-Agile is responsible for leading a team of product owners to create innovative experiences for Truist clients in the Digital Channel Payments space. This role involves defining, building, delivering, and measuring products and strategies while managing high-performing teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful product development and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product owners, setting direction and priorities for products, services, and experiences.
  • Understand the industry landscape, competitive environment, and voice of the client.
  • Partner with the Payments Group Product Manager II on the product roadmap.
  • Manage teams that develop and groom backlog from EPICS down to user stories in collaboration with various departments.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, & Compliance on new product development and remediation.
  • Work with associated LOBs, marketing, operation, and readiness teams on commercialization and rollout.
  • Oversee client experience/results/KPIs of assigned platforms.
  • Manage the annual budget, including monthly forecasting.
  • Hire, mentor, and manage team members, providing timely performance feedback.
  • Lead teams across related functions to support successful deployment of new products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Three or more years of banking, financial services, digital, or relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and making independent decisions.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of technology trends in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to translate technically complex concepts into business-friendly terminology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.
