About the position

Be a part of a premier design team responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of cutting-edge 5G network and mobile products. The applicant should be familiar with advanced system architectures and digital design. The candidate will work proactively with other cross-functional engineering groups. This is an engineering position for digital hardware design with NxGenComm. You will be responsible for the digital design and power management domain 5G systems with advanced chipsets in NxGenComm products from concept to deployment. This role also requires heavy cross-functional collaboration with other teams (Software, DSP, RF, and more) and therefore, you will also maintain a firm grasp of the entire product landscape outside of wireless design.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of 5G network and mobile products.
  • Conduct digital design and power management for 5G systems with advanced chipsets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups including Software, DSP, and RF teams.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product landscape outside of wireless design.

Requirements

  • BSEE and 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with schematic capture, layout design and review.
  • Experience with mobile platform system design, system integration, and/or high-volume consumer electronics design.
  • Experience with voltage regulators, LDO, switch mode power supplies (SMPS).
  • Experience with high-speed and low-speed digital interfaces, e.g. PCIe, SPMI, I2C, UART.
  • Bench-level design verification experience with high-speed oscilloscopes preferred.
  • Signal/Power integrity simulation experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
