The Digital Health Advisor position at the Public Health Institute (PHI) is a critical role aimed at supporting the Center for Innovation and Impact (CII) in operationalizing the USAID Digital Health Position Paper for the years 2024-2029. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including developing case studies and technical guidance notes, supporting the USAID Digital Health Working Group, and collaborating with partner bureaus and offices to ensure alignment with the USAID Digital Policy (2024-2034). The advisor will also provide project management and technical assistance for country-based digital health activities, which may include strategic planning, procurement design, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering digital health technical assistance in low- and middle-income countries, as well as an understanding of the evolving global health landscape, particularly in relation to digital health investments and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The role requires collaboration with Senior Digital Health Advisors and other stakeholders, contributing to a dynamic team that supports the Global Health Bureau and health offices in USAID missions worldwide. Candidates should be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, project management, communication, and collaboration skills. The position is full-time, with a salary range of $94,900 to $147,940 per year, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The role requires in-person work at the Washington, DC office at least three days a week, with potential travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time.
