About the position

The Digital HR Payroll, Time & Attendance Leader at Baker Hughes is responsible for overseeing the deployment and governance of foundational Time & Attendance systems, including Kronos and Workday. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create and execute strategic roadmaps for HR digital technologies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and leading cross-functional teams to enhance employee experience globally.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the successful deployment of foundational Time & Attendance systems, including Kronos and Workday.
  • Own development & execution of product technology & functional capability roadmaps.
  • Demonstrate product leadership acumen while identifying areas for process re-engineering and transformation.
  • Work with functional process owners, regional subject matter experts, and a systems implementation partner to redesign business processes that are more digital.
  • Lead prioritization discussions for business requirements, approve future state design/configurations, and ensure successful implementation through the product lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and partners to create, design and implement global design standards for solutions related to Time & Attendance.
  • Own project planning & resource allocation to ensure effective delivery.
  • Oversee the governance of the Payroll & T&A digital platforms and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or 4 years of IT technical experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Time Management including leading cross-functional initiatives and/or large global projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Payroll-related applications and processes.
  • Significant functional knowledge of HR as well as significant technical knowledge of a core set of HR Digital Technologies.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with a track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.

  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
