About the position

The Digital & IT Analyst at Parker Hannifin is responsible for maintaining and supporting the end-user and workstation environment at the Bowling Green facilities. This role involves installation, maintenance, and support of hardware and software, as well as addressing advanced technical questions from users. The analyst will manage IT processes and manufacturing applications critical to daily operations, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution while adhering to ITIL principles.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support end users and workstation environment at Bowling Green facilities.
  • Install, maintain, and provide general support for hardware and software.
  • Manage incidents and requests in coordination with the global IT service desk.
  • Interact directly with internal customers to investigate business requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Drive results and proactively identify and resolve problems.
  • Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business.
  • Provide monthly management reporting on project statuses.
  • Stay updated on new Digital and IT technologies and research their usage at Parker.
  • Prepare budgets for IT capital and expense initiatives.
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle of on-site assets and maintenance contracts.
  • Develop training materials for process changes and new technology introductions.
  • Evaluate unplanned requests and determine appropriate priority and action.
  • Coordinate with leadership to determine new technologies and enhancements for systems.
  • Follow established safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide after-hour technical support as needed.
  • Travel overnight to remote locations for technical solution implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an information technology role or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a support or service role with regular customer interaction.
  • At least 2 years of experience with maintenance and repair of computer hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory applications.
  • Familiarity with business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with IT Service Management ticketing tools such as ServiceNow (preferred).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • ITIL Foundation certification (strongly preferred).
  • Microsoft Certified Professional certification (preferred).
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification (preferred).
  • CompTIA A+ certification (preferred).
