About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced Thai writers to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance role allows for flexible hours and remote work, enabling contributors to work at their convenience. The position involves reading Thai text, ranking AI-generated responses, and assessing the factual accuracy of AI-produced content.

Responsibilities

• Reading Thai text to rank a series of responses produced by an AI model
• Writing a short story in Thai about a given topic
• Assessing the factual accuracy of Thai text produced by an AI model

Requirements

• Fluency in Thai
• Experience as a professional translator
• Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.)
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing

Nice-to-haves

• Higher rates may be offered to PhDs
• Experience in AI model training or evaluation
