About the position

As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in a high-growth marketing specialist team that is dedicated to continual growth and improvement with a performance-focused mindset aimed at benefiting our clients. This position is critical in conveying performance and strategy goals to clients, acting as the primary link between key stakeholders within the client's organization and the operations team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating all activities necessary to execute the digital strategy based on the client's goals, ensuring clear communication throughout the process. In this role, you will manage internal processes by being the first point of communication for clients. You will need to make informed decisions regarding client requests, determining which require immediate action and which necessitate further communication. Following up with clients to gain insights into their requests is essential, as is allocating resources only to projects that truly require them. You will also be responsible for the implementation of the digital strategy, proactively seeking areas for improvement and ensuring that tasks remain aligned with strategic goals. This includes providing timely and accurate reporting to key stakeholders, conducting weekly strategy meetings to update clients on project performance, and understanding the personalities and goals of each stakeholder to facilitate buy-in. Additionally, you will build and customize real-time client reporting through tools like Databox and DataStudio, sharing insights proactively with clients. Collaboration with the operations team to execute the digital strategy and provide actionable client feedback will also be a key part of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of communication for clients, managing their requests and expectations.
  • Build and implement digital marketing strategies based on client goals.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including weekly strategy meetings.
  • Customize reporting to align with client goals and share insights proactively.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to execute digital strategies and provide feedback.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of client management experience, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication of strategic goals.
  • Experience with marketing performance metrics and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Google Analytics, and/or DataStudio is preferred.
  • Strong task management skills and experience with project management systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Asana, Trello, or other project management systems.
  • 1 year of experience in digital marketing.
