About the position

The Digital Marketing Account Manager at Clix is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships while leading effective digital marketing strategies. This role focuses on driving client success through comprehensive marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, and content management. The position requires a business-minded individual who is a credible digital marketing thought leader, motivated by performance and collaboration. The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility while ensuring team connectivity through digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients across all digital marketing communication (email, video, phone, and in-person).
  • Develop strong client relationships to reinforce the foundation of each Clix partnership (trust and confidence).
  • Remain up to date on assigned accounts' and digital marketing industry trends; expand knowledge of broad digital marketing platforms and strategies.
  • Develop account-level strategic ideas and solutions through individual and/or team brainstorming efforts.
  • Manage ongoing digital marketing goal-setting and expectations management among accounts.
  • Educate and ensure a mutual understanding of goals, strategy, and supporting services.
  • Develop reporting, and lead performance reviews and strategic planning efforts across all assigned accounts.
  • Drive thought leadership by sharing opportunities with accounts based on expanding knowledge of digital marketing and Clix's service capabilities.
  • Effectively work in a cross-functional team environment, especially with project management and service teammates and partners.
  • Collaborate and build positive relationships with team members and assist with deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of related experience in a client-facing Account Management role.
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Advanced web analytics experiences (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience or equivalent.
  • Beginner-to-intermediate experience with the WordPress content management system.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Excellent judgment, demonstrated leadership, and business acumen.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to collaboratively resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising.
