About the position

We are hiring a Digital Marketing and Communications Director for our St. Louis, MO office to enhance and communicate the firm's message and brand. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise, energy, and results-driven mindset in this role. From crafting messages to broadcasting across multiple channels, this individual will elevate the FGMA brand and contribute to our strategic objectives. This role requires a person who is motivated by achieving measurable outcomes to support the firm's revenue and growth goals. Additionally, the candidate should have substantial experience in service-oriented leadership to foster and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders. The Digital Marketing and Communications Director will be responsible for recalibrating and expanding FGMA's brand guidelines for consistency and measurable results that improve the firm's market share, client generation, and employee retention. They will assist in the development and execution of demand-generation communication strategies that measurably increase brand awareness, impact revenue generation, and directly contribute to FGMA's broader strategic vision. The role also involves creating impactful messaging and content that provides measurable improvement in revenue generation and demand generation materials. Furthermore, the Director will elevate the organization's online dominance through quantifiable improvements in website traffic, user experience, and search engine rankings, resulting in a measurable increase in online visibility and organic traffic. They will foster strong relationships with internal practice teams and employees to create well-crafted messaging, provide tangible support, and achieve measurable campaign success. Demonstrating excellence in service-oriented leadership, the Director will meet the needs of internal clients with positivity, empathy, and collaboration. Leading and empowering a high-performance team that consistently delivers measurable outcomes and collaborating with the revenue generation marketing team will also be key responsibilities. Additionally, the Director will identify when the use of external agencies or consultants is needed and oversee the planned efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Recalibrate and expand FGMA's brand guidelines for consistency and measurable results.
  • Assist in the development and execute demand-gen communication strategies that increase brand awareness and impact revenue generation.
  • Create impactful messaging and content that improves revenue generation and demand generation materials.
  • Elevate the organization's online dominance through improvements in website traffic, user experience, and search engine rankings.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal practice teams and employees to create well-crafted messaging and achieve campaign success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, digital marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing and communications, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of the AEC Industry.
  • Experience with B2C marketing is a plus.
  • A leadership and communication style focused on serving and supporting others.
  • Experience in brand development and management.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO tools, content management systems, and email marketing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing and SEO.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and analytics.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Project Management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, monitor and measure digital marketing campaigns and communication initiatives.
  • The ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to promote FGMA's portfolio and enhance its digital presence.
  • The ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
