About the position

The Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist at Eden Christian Academy is a part-time role responsible for managing the school's website, email communications, and social media presence. This position aims to create and maintain professional digital content that aligns with the school's mission, requiring effective communication and marketing skills. The specialist will work three days a week and may need to be available for evenings or weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage all content for ECA's website
• Produce content for ECA website as directed
• Maintain up-to-date digital school calendars
• Implement and manage Google Analytics to collect visitor data
• Manage content for ECA's social media presence
• Create content for social media
• Post provided content from campuses, athletics, and other programs
• Implement and schedule posts with an approved social media calendar
• Assist in the distribution of email communications
• Attend and photograph school events
• Support the mission of ECA
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in digital marketing
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Basic personal computer skills (Gmail, Word, Excel)
• Advanced web skills (simple coding, SEO, interface with website architecture)
• Experience with digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
• Experience with digital data collection and analytics
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and public relations skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with traditional branding techniques
• Ability to create content utilizing industry-standard software
• Creative story idea generation
