About the position

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is seeking a Digital Marketing and Design Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is crucial in creating visually compelling content and managing website updates while supporting various digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will ensure brand consistency across all platforms and collaborate with internal teams to enhance user experience and drive engagement. As a high-growth renewable energy company, LRE operates a portfolio of 31 wind, solar, and energy storage facilities across the United States, totaling approximately 3 gigawatts of generating capacity. We are committed to responsible development and the safe operation of our projects, focusing on building sustainable solutions for clean energy and empowering communities through energy independence and job creation. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and editing visual content, including presentations, infographics, and images, while also performing basic photo and video editing. You will update website content using WordPress, ensuring brand alignment and implementing basic SEO practices to enhance visibility and ranking. Additionally, you will execute social media campaigns with visually appealing content for platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, while monitoring analytics to optimize performance. You will assist in planning and executing digital advertising campaigns, including SEM and paid social media ads, and analyze their performance to provide actionable insights. The role also involves ensuring brand consistency across all visual collateral, collaborating with content creators and copywriters to align visual and text elements, and applying UX principles to increase web and social media engagement. You will manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality, and coordinate with external vendors when additional support is needed. Furthermore, you will create data-driven visuals and infographics that effectively communicate key insights, design responsive email templates for marketing campaigns, and maintain a digital asset library for easy access. Staying informed of emerging trends in graphic design, digital marketing, and web technologies is essential, as is generating performance reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Lastly, you will assist in the execution of corporate events, webinars, and other promotional activities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging visual graphics, including presentations, infographics, and images, with basic photo and video editing for various platforms.

  • Ensure all visual collateral adheres to brand guidelines and a cohesive brand identity, including the development of brand assets.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality, and coordinate with external vendors when additional support is needed.
  • Consult with internal departments to create data-driven visuals and infographics that effectively communicate key insights, transforming data and complex ideas into clear, audience-resonant graphics and compelling visual stories.
  • Design responsive and optimized email templates and graphics for email marketing campaigns across various devices and clients.
  • Organize and maintain a digital asset library for easy access, implementing version control and backup procedures to safeguard design assets.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends in graphic design, digital marketing, and web technologies, experimenting with new tools and techniques, and generate performance reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the execution of corporate events, webinars, and other promotional activities.

Requirements

  • Three years of hands-on Digital Marketing experience including SEO/SEM, websites, email marketing, social media management, and content marketing.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress are a must.
  • Experience with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite, and analytics platforms that track and optimize website visitor behavior.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting and leveraging data from digital campaigns to optimize performance.
  • Proficiency in generating reports, A/B testing, and using insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in working within cross-functional teams and managing deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Digital Marketing will be considered.
