About the position

The Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist at Flour Bakery + Cafe is responsible for implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement. This full-time role involves managing the company's digital presence, including social media platforms and website, while creating compelling content that tells the Flour story. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, content creation, and digital analytics, and will work collaboratively with the marketing team to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Launch Flour on Tik Tok
• Create, edit, curate and schedule all photography + video content for Flour social media in line with strategic marketing goals
• Manage a social media calendar for all Flour social media
• Manage targeted paid ads via Meta and Google
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends and best practices
• Assist in the development and management of influencer marketing strategies
• Present and analyze key metrics on post performance and suggest strategy modifications as necessary
• Assist in the maintenance of Flour's website including basic updates and our holiday pre-order program
• Monitor website functionality, traffic, and performance
• Monitor and respond to reviews, comments, and messages across social media and online reputation platforms to foster positive relationships and nurture our online community

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, graphic design, or equivalent experience
• 18-24 months of relevant experience
• Experience in social media management
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Experience with digital analytics tools
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud

• Portfolio of successful Instagram and TikTok campaigns
• Experience with influencer marketing strategies
• Ability to compile and synthesize campaign analytics
