About the position

The Digital Marketing Associate Director role at Rigel Pharmaceuticals is focused on developing and executing digital marketing initiatives that align with brand objectives for approved products. This position requires a strong background in pharmaceutical marketing and digital strategies, with responsibilities that include overseeing marketing campaigns, optimizing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement through innovative media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee marketing campaigns to HCPs and Patients across digital, social media, and traditional channels.
  • Define and leverage key performance metrics to measure marketing campaign performance and derive insights for optimization.
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies and campaigns to drive qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the data and analytics team on marketing data integrations and reporting dashboards.
  • Ensure strategic alignment and brand messaging in multi-channel marketing tactics with the marketing promotions team.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technologies and platforms to identify novel approaches for brand engagement.
  • Gain approval for marketing strategies through internal review processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Consult and collaborate with cross-functional partners to support their digital strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage third-party vendors to ensure understanding of brand strategy and desired outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of biopharmaceutical industry marketing and digital marketing expertise.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate, develop, execute, and optimize strategy.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech digital marketing.
  • Proven experience with organic and paid digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, email marketing, etc.).
  • Project management skills including analytical assessment and budget management.
  • Aptitude for creative thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and resolve conflicts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Oncology experience preferred.
  • MBA in marketing or related fields.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $163,000 to $192,000.
