About the position

The Digital Marketing Business Development / Sales Representative is a remote position focused on generating new business opportunities for the agency. This role involves prospecting, networking, and lead generation, as well as providing administrative support to the sales team. The representative will spend the first month learning sales techniques, using Salesforce, and understanding the digital marketing industry before taking on lead generation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads via outreach including cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and attending networking events.
  • Coordinate and schedule prospective client meetings involving the Sales Team.
  • Communicate ongoing contact, activities, and updates through Sales Report meetings with the Sales Team.
  • Meet company quarterly and annual sales goals for this role.
  • Research industry market trends and create a top prospects list.
  • Contact other agencies and potential partners to join the Mutual Referral Program.
  • Stay current on changes and best practices in digital marketing and web development.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and Sales Team as needed.
