About The Position
The Digital Marketing Person will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence of our charity organization based in Maui, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various digital marketing strategies, including SEO, Google Ads, WordPress, and social media management. The primary focus will be on optimizing our WordPress website for SEO to increase traffic and conversions, as well as creating engaging content that resonates with our audience. As a charity organization, we are dedicated to raising funds for a restoration project in Maui and assisting with recovery efforts from the recent wildfires. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate not only possesses the technical skills required for digital marketing but also shares our mission and values. The role can be performed remotely or on-site in Maui, providing flexibility for the right candidate. The responsibilities will include conducting website assessments, driving organic traffic through various channels, creating video content, and managing social media platforms. The candidate should be adept at using tools like Google Ads, GMB, and video editing software, and should have a strong command of the English language for effective communication. Additionally, the ability to connect with influencers and implement innovative marketing strategies will be key to the success of this role. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also a team player, as all content must be approved before publication. The candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in digital marketing or hold a relevant master's degree.
