The Digital Marketing Coordinator at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom plays a crucial role in managing the park's online presence, ensuring that all digital platforms are accurate, engaging, and functional. This part-time position involves overseeing the parks' websites, ecommerce stores, and the Six Flags App, with a focus on maintaining up-to-date content that excites and informs visitors. The coordinator will be responsible for initializing the design and content of new web pages, ensuring that they effectively communicate necessary information and generate excitement in the market. In addition to web management, the role includes managing ecommerce product creation and quality assurance, updating online operating calendars, and regularly verifying their accuracy. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will also assist with the execution of various marketing and public relations events and initiatives, completing any tasks as requested by Six Flags Management. This position requires adherence to park policies and procedures while maintaining the high standards set by Six Flags. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills in web design and a strong customer service orientation, ensuring that all interactions with guests and team members are positive and respectful. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the parks' websites, ecommerce stores, and the Six Flags App for accuracy and functionality.
  • Initialize the design and content of new web pages to effectively communicate the information needed and generate excitement in the market.
  • Ensure online photo and video content is current and accurate.
  • Manage ecommerce product creation and quality assurance.
  • Update the online operating calendars and regularly verify for accuracy.
  • Assist with the execution of Marketing and Public Relations events and initiatives.
  • Complete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags Management.
  • Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent skill with website design.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage projects on a deadline.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic photo & video skills.
  • Enthusiastic personality with the ability to engage with guests and team members respectfully.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous PR, marketing, communications or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
