About the position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist with the planning, development, and execution of digital and social marketing programs and campaigns for Albertsons Companies' Denver Division. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's digital presence and will focus on various digital platforms, including social media, email, website, display ads, and the loyalty program app. The position is based out of the Denver Division Office in Centennial, CO, and reports directly to the Director of Marketing. The coordinator will work closely with the National Marketing team, local vendors, and partnered agencies to ensure that marketing strategies are effectively implemented at the local level. In this role, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will manage the creation of social media content that aligns with business unit goals and will be responsible for developing programs aimed at enhancing customer retention, acquisition, and engagement. The coordinator will also help in the development of annual marketing calendars and budgets, oversee local influencers to create unique brand campaigns, and conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies. Maintaining relationships with local vendors and media partners is essential, as is presenting digital campaign results to leadership and sales teams. The coordinator will prepare presentations and other communications for both internal and external groups, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines throughout all marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Previous work in digital/social marketing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years Marketing or Agency experience in B2C space.
  • Combination of being strategic, creative, and analytical.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with digital/social marketing tools and platforms.
  • Professional experience developing social media content including targeted sponsored ads.
  • Understanding of loyalty programs and data interpretation a strong plus.
  • Familiar with the latest digital/social marketing trends.
  • Ability to develop creative copy for use in all marketing mediums.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player that can also work independently with little direction.
  • Strong computer skills, well versed in Microsoft Office with a basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite of design programs (Photoshop and InDesign specifically).
