About the position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator for the Graduate School at the University System of Hampshire plays a pivotal role in managing and implementing digital marketing strategies and communications for both the UNH Graduate School and the Peter T Paul College of Business and Economics. This position is essential in presenting a cohesive and professional outward-facing brand for these two academic units. Reporting to the Senior Integrated Marketing Director and collaborating closely with the leadership of Paul College, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will work with external vendors to ensure that marketing campaigns are executed consistently and effectively across all digital platforms, encompassing both paid and organic efforts. In addition to campaign management, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the graduate school website and the web pages for Paul College graduate programs. This includes ensuring that all digital content is current, organized, accessible, and presented in a professional manner. The role also involves collaboration with the graduate enrollment team to assist with email marketing initiatives and data analysis, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of outreach efforts. The position requires a strong understanding of website management, social media best practices, and pay-per-click advertising tools. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating digital marketing plans, evaluating advertisement campaigns across various platforms, and utilizing data to improve digital marketing strategies. This role is integral to the success of the Graduate School's marketing efforts and requires a collaborative individual who can effectively manage multiple projects and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development of creative assets with clients and agencies for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Create digital marketing plans and suggest audience targeting strategies.
  • Evaluate digital advertisement campaigns across platforms such as AdRoll, Facebook, Google Ads, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Utilize data to enhance digital marketing, website, email, and social media efforts, as well as lead generation techniques.
  • Develop campaign reports that highlight the efficacy of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and track campaign budgets and expenditures.
  • Stay informed about the latest changes and updates in digital marketing and share this knowledge with staff.
  • Maintain website platform upgrades, handle maintenance requests, and create content and images for the website.
  • Ensure the website is ADA compliant and publish news, alumni, and student stories to UNH Today.
  • Review SEO recommendations and implement necessary changes to improve website effectiveness.
  • Design and write content for organic social media posts and manage the content calendar.
  • Collaborate across campus to promote all colleges conferring graduate programs through social media.
  • Evaluate social media metrics to enhance outreach and engagement through creative and timely posts.
  • Work with academic marketing directors to develop program-specific email content within the graduate school email framework.
  • Update email templates with content changes and assist with email reports, evaluations, and campaign testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of website management and analysis, social media best practices, and pay-per-click advertising tools.
  • Experience with paid ad campaign management software such as Google Ads, AdRoll, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce/TargetX, Drupal, SEO, SEM.
  • Prior experience in higher education or a marketing agency.
