About the position

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator at WaBa Grill, you will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing our digital marketing strategies. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about digital marketing and possess a strong understanding of customer engagement platforms and content creation. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in campaign management, data analysis, and content oversight to enhance brand recognition and foster customer loyalty. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with WaBa Grill's brand objectives. You will assist in creating and implementing retention strategies aimed at improving customer engagement and encouraging repeat purchases, which will include referral and loyalty programs. Additionally, you will support marketing strategies for third-party delivery platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, and develop content marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility. You will also be responsible for managing the customer data platform (CDP), which includes overseeing personas, segments, and data integrations. Analyzing market trends, customer data, and campaign performance metrics will be essential to refine targeting and messaging. You will conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize digital campaign performance, create and manage email and text marketing campaigns, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms, including social media. Staying informed about industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms will be vital for providing strategic recommendations for innovation and enhanced engagement. You will support the internal customer support platform for loyalty management, ensuring smooth operation and integration with marketing efforts, and perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and organizing marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute digital marketing strategies.
  • Assist with developing and implementing retention strategies to improve customer engagement and repeat purchases.
  • Support marketing strategies for third-party delivery platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats.
  • Develop and implement content marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across digital platforms, including social media.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and prepare detailed monthly reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the external agency to ensure cohesive and strategic social media execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Support internal customer support platform for loyalty management, ensuring smooth operation and integration with marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate and publish communications across internal channels using platforms like MailChimp.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of food service/industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with experience crafting impactful messages for diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and quality assurance skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in market research and competitive analysis is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with guest engagement platforms (e.g., Punchh) and proficiency in CRM/CDP platforms.
  • Experience in photo editing, creating static and video content (Photoshop/Illustrator/etc.).
  • Experience with content marketing.
  • A strong understanding of customer journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
  • General understanding of visual elements (typography, layout, etc.).
