About the position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator at Smith System Manufacturing Co. is responsible for producing, reviewing, and publishing content that enhances brand awareness and drives internet traffic and sales. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and social media platforms, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content and analyze digital campaigns to improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Research on latest digital marketing trends including social media and website enhancements.
  • Drive content on social media platforms, creating and updating content calendar to include marketing activities relevant to our target audiences.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Work with Communications Manager and Graphic Designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for improving digital campaigns.
  • Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Contribute to the creation of email campaigns.
  • Assist in updating website and creating landing pages with new content for website and landing pages including dealer portal.
  • Drive SEO and website performance.
  • Work with marketing team and agency to build keywords and ads for new brand and product launches.
  • Dig into keywords and campaigns to uncover opportunities.
  • Copywriting for social media and other marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Assist and act as backup for all other marketing activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing
  • 2+ years experience in a digital marketing role
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and other social media best practices
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Experience with HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Deadline oriented.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools
  • Basic understanding of WordPress
