About the position

World Monuments Fund (WMF) seeks a qualified professional for the role of Digital Marketing Coordinator to contribute to our global, creative, and inclusive team. The individual is a key member of the Communications Department, assisting the Director of Marketing and Digital Engagement on WMF's marketing campaign. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Digital Engagement, this individual will provide critical support to both the communications team and the organization at large, assisting in a variety of outreach and internal administrative activities including the development and daily maintenance of social content, the wmf.org website, and the institutional communications calendar. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, positive, pro-active individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong writer and copyeditor with a passion for social media.

Responsibilities

  • Draft owned and paid content for WMF's social media channels, including Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn in coordination with the greater Communications team.
  • Assist with copyediting marketing and communications materials, including newsletters, e-blasts, and website copy.
  • Schedule social media posts and advertising for publication, in line with the overarching departmental content calendar.
  • Build and track weekly email communications via Luminate.
  • Track and update internal documents and brand reference files, including PowerPoint templates and the annual factsheet.
  • Act as a website administrator, in coordination with the Director of Marketing and Digital Engagement, to ensure that all aspects of publication, including images and copy are updated in a timely manner.
  • Field email inquiries from the website contact form.
  • Support the management of video assets, including WMF's YouTube channel.
  • Conduct regular social media monitoring and community management.
  • Assist with reporting on both routine social posts and digital marketing efforts.
  • Maintain the Communications department calendars tracking key dates, events, and other projects on Airtable.
  • Coordinate department meetings by preparing the agenda, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Liaise with the WMF Programs Coordinator to maintain up-to-date information on projects.
  • Coordinate with Development to keep track of donor/membership campaigns, special events, and other areas of overlap with Communications.
  • Assist with other marketing and digital efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or social media
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, accurately, and concisely.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and top social media platforms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to work with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to compile, report, and analyze information succinctly.
  • Ability to work occasional evening events.
  • CMS, website administration, and database skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Hootsuite, Meta Business, and HTML are a plus.
  • Background and/or interest in the heritage and cultural sectors.
