About the position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal role within Cavender's marketing team, focusing on the execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that emphasizes an integrated, customer-centric, and omni-channel approach. This position is responsible for the implementation of various marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including email, SMS, website, and paid advertisements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to strategize and execute marketing activities that align with the company's mission, vision, and values. Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are essential for this role, as the coordinator will be tasked with enhancing the overall customer experience through effective digital marketing channels. In this role, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the company culture and serve as a strategic partner, collaborating with various stakeholders in Marketing and Merchandising to conceptualize and plan marketing campaigns. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing digital marketing campaign calendars, providing input on graphic design for campaign materials, and ensuring that all campaigns deliver the best possible customer experience. Additionally, the coordinator will lead the Cavender's Ranch Blog, overseeing SEO, copywriting, and content integration into broader marketing efforts. The position also involves managing email and SMS campaigns, engaging with third-party agencies, and monitoring campaign performance metrics. The coordinator will assist in implementing new marketing software platforms and will be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Administrative tasks such as invoice entry and reconciliation for digital marketing vendors will also be part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the 'Cavender's Culture' and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Serve as a strategic partner and key support resource to the company
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to strategize and implement digital channel marketing activity
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising stakeholders to conceptualize and plan marketing campaigns
  • Plan and organize digital marketing campaign calendars
  • Provide input into the graphic design of campaign materials and proof to ensure the best possible customer experience with campaigns
  • Serve as the lead on the Cavender's Ranch Blog, coordinating SEO, copywriting, and content needs
  • Oversee email and SMS campaigns and 3rd party agency engagement
  • Approve and deploy all email and SMS campaigns
  • Assemble all campaign details acting as the key liaison between internal marketing & creative teams and 3rd party agency
  • Oversee and test automated email buildouts and support strategic initiatives
  • Work with 3rd party agencies to coordinate SEO, SEM, Display, Pre-Roll and other paid digital ad campaigns
  • Monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics
  • Assist with the implementation of new Marketing software platforms
  • Admin, invoice entry and reconciliation as required for digital marketing vendors
  • Make focused decisions based on brand integrity and company values to ensure an understanding of our core customer for highest customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible during times of change
  • Ability to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks
  • Ability to comprehend complex issues and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, handling merchandise, products and props frequently
  • Based in Tyler, TX at our home office; Tyler area residence
  • Occasional travel
