About the position

The Digital Marketing Director at Green Brick Partners is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement. This role involves leading a digital agency and an internal team to deliver compelling brand messaging, optimize online presence, and improve customer experience, ultimately driving business results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies that create customer journey alignment and drive adequate leads and traffic to communities.
  • Lead tactical marketing planning including campaign development, paid advertising strategy, implementation, execution, and measurement of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Identify strategies and implement solutions to improve online brand presence and reputation.
  • Plan, oversee and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various channels, including 3rd party sites, social media, search, and display.
  • Monitor campaign performance and ROI to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop targeted/personalized marketing campaigns and journeys via SMS, email and other applications based on CRM insights.
  • Direct the development of digital content including website content, email campaigns, and social media to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of company websites to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
  • Manage online customer acquisition and engagement (online chat and lead generation).
  • Lead SEO and work with marketing team on content development for all brand websites to improve organic site traffic and engagement.
  • Oversee digital agencies/vendors to create and implement media and content marketing placements across owned, paid, and earned channels that engages target audiences.
  • Prepare and manage online marketing budget.
  • Access data from a variety of internal and external sources to develop insights, measure ROI, identify areas of opportunity and optimize effectiveness of online marketing communications.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to deliver performance reports and insights and recommend actions or revisions to strategies.
  • Lead and train digital marketing team on best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field.
  • 7-10 years in marketing with a focus on digital strategy development and execution.
  • Experience managing a team of digital content creators and specialists.
  • Certification in Google Analytics preferred.
  • Hands on experience in digital marketing tools and platforms including Google Analytics, social media management tools, marketing automation software and website content management tools.
  • Solid understanding of SEO /SEM and best practices to drive organic traffic.
  • Intermediate skills in MSOffice Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel with ability to produce reports.
  • Basic InDesign, PhotoShop and Adobe Professional skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in website maintenance software: WordPress, Builder Cloud or related software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Google platforms (Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio) a plus.
  • Preference for experience with Sales Force CRM and Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
  • Hootsuite or Sprout social media management knowledge.
