We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our paid social and digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving results through strategic planning, execution, and optimization of paid social channels, along with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. This role will be instrumental in driving growth and maximizing ROI through innovative marketing initiatives. The Marketing Director will conduct a comprehensive audit of current marketing efforts, develop strategic roadmaps, implement performance tracking mechanisms, and analyze the conversion funnel to enhance customer journeys. Additionally, the role involves fostering a culture of creativity within the marketing team, exploring emerging trends, and developing long-term growth strategies that prioritize sustainability and profitability. The Marketing Director will oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and display advertising. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives, as well as the management of marketing budgets to maximize ROI. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing market conditions, and lead a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of current paid social and digital marketing efforts, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Develop a short-term and long-term strategic roadmap for paid social and digital marketing initiatives aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Implement performance tracking mechanisms and establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and target new audience segments to expand the brand's reach and diversify customer acquisition channels.
  • Analyze the conversion funnel from awareness to purchase and identify opportunities to streamline the customer journey, reduce friction points, and increase conversion rates at each stage.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team by encouraging experimentation with new ad formats, creative concepts, and messaging strategies.
  • Explore emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing to differentiate the brand and capture audience attention.
  • Develop a long-term growth strategy that prioritizes sustainability, scalability, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid social media strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across various platforms.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and display advertising.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to optimize performance and achieve departmental goals.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, creative, and sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally as a Marketing Director or similar, with a focus on paid social and digital marketing within the e-commerce industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies, driving measurable results, and achieving KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and ROI.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, as well as experience working with e-commerce platforms and tools.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI and drive sustainable growth.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture, and developing talent to drive individual and team success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapt to changing market conditions and business needs, and make strategic adjustments to marketing strategies and tactics as necessary.
