About the position

The Digital Marketing Director at Abel Communications is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative, data-driven digital marketing strategies that align with clients' business objectives. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to deliver effective marketing solutions across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will act as a primary consultant for clients, manage multi-channel campaigns, and foster a collaborative team environment while ensuring the agency's growth and thought leadership in the digital marketing space.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative, data-driven digital marketing strategies to meet clients' business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align digital strategies with the agency's overall vision and growth goals.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives within the agency, ensuring the adoption of new trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Act as the primary digital consultant for clients, identifying their goals and crafting tailored digital strategies.
  • Build strong client relationships by demonstrating expertise in SEO, SEM, paid social, content marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital campaigns.
  • Manage agency accounts for digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and social media management systems.
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement optimizations for SEO, content strategy and online lead capture.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including production schedule and segmentation strategies.
  • Create social media content and manage other content creators.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics for all digital initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to optimize ROI.
  • Manage budgets for digital campaigns, ensuring cost-effective use of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Support business development efforts, contributing digital expertise to pitches, proposals, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within an agency or corporate setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing integrated digital marketing strategies across paid, earned, and owned media.
  • Deep expertise in SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Proficient in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and social media insights tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop digital talent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and properly prioritize in order to meet all deadlines.
