We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our paid social and digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving results through strategic planning, execution, and optimization of paid social channels, along with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. This role will be instrumental in driving growth and maximizing ROI through innovative marketing initiatives. The Marketing Director will conduct a comprehensive audit of current marketing efforts, develop strategic roadmaps, implement performance tracking mechanisms, and analyze the conversion funnel to streamline the customer journey. Additionally, the role involves fostering a culture of creativity within the marketing team, developing long-term growth strategies, and overseeing all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and display advertising. The Marketing Director will also lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to optimize performance and achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of current paid social and digital marketing efforts, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Develop a short-term and long-term strategic roadmap for paid social and digital marketing initiatives aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Implement performance tracking mechanisms and establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and target new audience segments to expand the brand's reach and diversify customer acquisition channels.
  • Analyze the conversion funnel from awareness to purchase and identify opportunities to streamline the customer journey, reduce friction points, and increase conversion rates at each stage.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team by encouraging experimentation with new ad formats, creative concepts, and messaging strategies.
  • Develop a long-term growth strategy that prioritizes sustainability, scalability, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid social media strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across various platforms.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and display advertising.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to optimize performance and achieve departmental goals.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, creative, and sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally as a Marketing Director or similar, with a focus on paid social and digital marketing within the e-commerce industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies, driving measurable results, and achieving KPIs.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce industry.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing spend.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
