About the position

The position is for a senior professional to lead the digital marketing efforts for the private wealth client marketing team at a global alternative asset manager. The role involves establishing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all digital marketing activities, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and paid media campaigns. The individual will work closely with various teams to optimize the customer experience and drive conversions through personalized and multi-channel marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all digital marketing activities.
  • Define how the company uses social media within the customer experience and maintain the social media presence.
  • Develop segmentation/audience activation strategies and key journeys/campaigns to drive conversion.
  • Create a personalization strategy and business rules for multi-channel nurture campaigns.
  • Define a digital-only coverage strategy for prospects and lower-tier client segments.
  • Set digital marketing goals and KPI framework, and assess performance against these goals.
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate customer experience across multiple channels and optimize spend and performance.
  • Identify critical conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Brainstorm and execute new growth strategies, including multi-variant testing approaches.
  • Collaborate with agencies and tech teams to design and optimize landing pages and user experience.
  • Evaluate how emerging technologies can support business goals.
  • Provide coaching and thought leadership on best practices for delivering investor-centric digital experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of previous experience in marketing and digital.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly within wealth management.
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media, and paid media campaigns.
  • Experience defining digital channel strategy and optimizing user funnels.
  • Experience designing A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing tools, including content management systems and marketing analytics tools.
  • Basic understanding of digital copywriting best practices.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing PPC campaigns on major search engines.
