About the position

Rally House is seeking a Digital Marketing Email Specialist to join our growing team in Lenexa, KS. As a specialty retail store that focuses on local products, we are expanding rapidly with over 180 stores nationwide and plans to grow beyond 200. The Email Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in executing our email marketing strategy, which is a key component of our overall marketing efforts. This position involves managing the day-to-day email marketing processes, including building and sending daily emails, generating email segments, and tracking performance analytics. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of data integration with Email Service Providers and possess a technical aptitude to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as IT, Internet Operations, Creative, and Analytics. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of email campaigns and other CRM projects. You will manage the marketing department's email campaign calendar, handle data entry, customer segmentation, and analytics tagging. Quality control and pre-deployment testing are also essential parts of your responsibilities, along with deployment through the Listrak platform and back-end analysis using Google Analytics. You will collaborate with peers and leaders to ensure that project outcomes align with marketing priorities and that messaging is consistent across all platforms. Additionally, you will explore industry insights and the competitive landscape to enhance customer segmentation and improve our email marketing strategies and techniques. Your ability to interpret and provide input on email analytics will be vital to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of email campaigns and other assigned CRM projects.
  • Assist the email process cycle: manage the marketing department email campaign calendar, data entry of email calendar, customer segmentation, analytics tagging, pre-deployment testing/quality control, deployment through Listrak platform, and back-end analysis with Google Analytics.
  • Collaborate with peers and leaders to ensure project outcomes align with marketing priorities and messaging is consistent across all marketing platforms.
  • Explore industry insights and the competitive landscape to understand how to improve customer segmentation, creative elements, and latest email marketing strategies/techniques/tools.
  • Provide interpretation and input on email analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in marketing automation and email marketing processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative and artistic capability with a keen eye for detail.
  • Technical aptitude to work with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Listrak platform or similar email marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics for performance tracking.
