As a Digital Marketing & Instructional Copywriter, you will immerse yourself in a variety of creative copywriting tasks, including e-commerce and SEO copywriting, as well as crafting compelling UX copy for instructions, newsletters, blogs, and social media. Your role will be pivotal in elevating consumer-facing content and ensuring that every word counts in our fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this position, you will be responsible for crafting product descriptions for major online retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, and Target, while keeping consumer needs and brand guidelines in mind. You will develop engaging marketing copy across various platforms, including newsletters, blogs, social media, and digital ads, all while supercharging conversions through the integration of high-volume keywords and phrases using SEO best practices. Your ability to put yourself in the user's shoes will ensure that all copy is easy to understand and follow, fostering a seamless user experience. Additionally, you will support our instructional copywriting team by writing, proofreading, and testing instructions to improve clarity and user-friendliness. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will bridge the gap between departments, working closely with customer service, marketing, and compliance teams on various copy issues. You will also review instructional content alongside visuals such as images, diagrams, and graphics to ensure consistency and clarity. Responsibilities

  • Support the instructional copywriting team by writing, proofreading, and testing instructions for improved clarity and user-friendliness.
  • Collaborate with customer service, marketing, and compliance teams on various copy issues.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience crafting copy for e-commerce, retail, sales, or marketing environments.
  • A chameleon-like writing style, adapting to technical UX copy, SEO content, marketing materials, and digital formats with ease.
  • Deep understanding of key online retailers and their unique copy requirements (think Walmart, Amazon, Target).
  • Flawless written and verbal communication skills.
  • Razor-sharp editing, proofreading, and grammar skills.
  • Strong market research and analysis skills to uncover insights.
