The Social Media Intern position at Highwire offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to kickstart their careers in digital marketing. This hands-on role involves working closely with experienced digital strategists, designers, and PR professionals to create and execute social media campaigns for leading technology brands. Interns will gain valuable experience in content creation, digital strategy, and campaign management while contributing directly to client success in a supportive agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to integrated marketing teams, including social media, content creation, and demand generation.
• Draft social media posts and collaborate with team members to ensure content is on-brand and aligned with client objectives.
• Assist in developing design briefs for social media and digital advertising assets.
• Monitor social media platforms daily, identifying areas for improvement and making proactive suggestions.
• Prepare weekly performance reports, tracking key metrics and providing insights into campaign effectiveness.
• Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items.
• Engage with online communities, managing social media activity and responding to comments based on agreed escalation plans and guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and share recommendations with the team on how to adapt strategies.
• Provide recommendations on campaign optimization and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Recent college graduate with a focus on digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn and contribute to team success.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all client-facing work.
