About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager, Ad Technology and Trust at LinkedIn plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's marketing strategies through innovative ad technology and brand safety initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and scaling global digital media standards while optimizing ad performance and preventing ad fraud. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement advanced safety technologies and ensure the integrity of LinkedIn's marketing channels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee LinkedIn Marketing's strategy in relation to global brand safety and ad optimization technologies.
  • Identify risks and implement controls to maintain the integrity of LinkedIn's channels and operations.
  • Explore advanced safety technologies beyond keyword blocklisting to enhance brand safety while creating revenue opportunities.
  • Leverage knowledge of brand safety best practices to foster alignment across media and technology initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of customer expectations, regulatory guidance, and industry trends to pinpoint actionable opportunities.
  • Work with LinkedIn's Global Issue response council to define and launch strategic initiatives aimed at protecting members on the platform.
  • Develop insights on utilizing contextual intelligence and large language models (LLMs) to improve brand safety.
  • Build and test new optimization techniques leveraging attention and other media quality metrics to drive campaign ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute AdTech strategy including Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Ad Servers, and attention technologies.
  • Oversee the evaluation, onboarding, and performance of Ad tech vendors as it relates to trust, optimization, and measurement.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience across various digital marketing channels, leading ad tech strategy, A/B testing, scaling & optimizing spend and driving ROI.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience managing or working with or within an advertising or marketing agency.
  • Experience with ad verification and brand safety tools such as IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems and technologies such as DSPs, Ad servers, attention technologies (Adeleaide), and measurement tools.
  • Strong and clear communication and presentation skills to audiences at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Comfortable working in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment within a complex, matrixed organization.
