About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager for Audience Journeys and Personas at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for developing and executing audience targeting strategies and persona-based journey designs. This role focuses on enhancing customer engagement through sophisticated segmentation and database growth strategies, ultimately driving personalized experiences and maximizing marketing ROI for key customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with martech, data science, marketing analytics, operations, campaigns and programs teams to develop a cohesive audience targeting strategy and persona-based journey design for each digital channel and campaign.
  • Deliver personalized, real-time audience journeys and content to engage and convert various types of audiences in our key customer segments.
  • Regularly provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for growing and enriching marketable customer contact records across key target segments.
  • Strategically enrich audience data records by leveraging various internal and external data sources and databases.
  • Proactively identify and deliver audience behavioral insights and database growth trends to global and regional stakeholders.
  • Work with the customer research team to gather audience insights through qualitative and quantitative audience and persona research projects.
  • Influence the roadmap of data science, customer channel and technology teams on all things related to targeting solutions, measurement, database enrichment, and data platforms integration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting
  • Proven experience in audience management, customer lifecycle, email marketing, or CRM management, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on performance tracking and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to handle complex workflows and multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments to drive joint initiatives.
