The Digital Marketing Manager (Addressable) will lead the addressable marketing channels for Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, focusing on email, app messaging, SMS, and other digital platforms. This role is pivotal in driving both online and in-store revenue by implementing targeted, promotional, lifecycle, and personalized marketing strategies aimed at acquiring, retaining, and re-engaging customers. The Manager will utilize data analytics to derive insights that inform customer contact strategies and foster channel growth. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organized individual, possessing strong leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, communication, and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including merchandising, marketing, creative teams, web development, and external agencies, is essential to the success of this role. In this position, the Manager will take primary ownership of the email program, focusing on sales, file growth, and subscriber engagement. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing email strategies across various types of communications, such as trigger, transactional, and promotional emails. The Manager will also oversee the push notification contact strategy and manage the planning and segmentation processes for addressable channels. A key aspect of the role involves growing email and push lists while maintaining list hygiene, creating new addressable marketing programs, and optimizing existing ones. The Manager will streamline reporting and insights for addressable channels and guide continuous improvements in channel performance through testing and analysis. Additionally, the Manager will play a crucial role in implementing personalization initiatives and SMS strategies, overseeing the planning of content for promotional emails that align with the department calendar. Close collaboration with digital merchandisers, store merchandisers, and other marketing teams is necessary to ensure the execution of marketing and merchandise programs. The Manager will also work with the Creative Services Team and traditional marketing departments to ensure compliance with email and push best practices, while monitoring and optimizing deliverability with third-party email service providers. Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices will be essential for making informed recommendations for growth. The Manager will also be responsible for managing, coaching, developing, mentoring, and evaluating the addressable marketing team.
