About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing global marketing campaigns that promote AWS's priority solution themes and services. This role involves managing the email channel and digital operations for major AWS events, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance customer experiences, and implementing best practices based on data insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-channel marketing and technical expertise in marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the day-to-day management and optimization of the email channel and digital operations for Global Campaigns and Tier 1 events.
  • Collaborates with campaign leads, in-region Field Marketing Managers, Events Marketing, Product Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to create optimal digital experiences.
  • Drives recommendations on effective customer engagement within digital channels.
  • Implements targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns.
  • Develops and executes test plans across all digital channels.
  • Establishes and maintains scalable processes for email, social channels, paid media, and internal reporting.
  • Provides campaign performance analysis and implements timely optimizations to drive results.
  • Manages the maintenance of a library of assets and campaigns, including asset hierarchy and management.
  • Supports localization processes for campaigns in international geographies.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
