The Digital Marketing Manager at the University of California, Davis, is a pivotal role that reports directly to the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. This position is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive multimedia marketing and communications portfolio aimed at enhancing the visibility and appeal of graduate education at UC Davis. The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with deans, directors, and administrators to enrich the Graduate Studies brand through the design and implementation of outreach campaigns, social media initiatives, and digital communications that align with goals for graduate student recruitment, retention, and community-building. In this role, the Digital Marketing Manager will utilize a variety of platforms, both web-based and non-web-based, to execute their responsibilities. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and website content management systems like Drupal is essential. The manager will also be expected to handle social media content management through platforms like Hootsuite, as well as marketing platforms such as MailChimp or Constant Contact. An important aspect of the role includes tracking, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance using analytic tools, which will inform ongoing marketing strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director. The Digital Marketing Manager will be expected to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals, including students, staff, faculty, and alumni, ensuring that communications are clear and impactful.
