About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager for Personalization and Web Leads at Johnson Controls is responsible for leading the development of content and personalization strategies aimed at generating high-quality leads from the company's websites. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of tailored customer experiences, leveraging website and chatbot technologies, and ensuring effective handoff to marketing automation tools. The manager will utilize data analytics to monitor campaign performance, optimize digital strategies, and enhance the online presence of Johnson Controls while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of content and personalization strategies to generate high-quality leads from websites.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of tailored customer experiences leveraging JCI's website and chatbot technologies.
  • Create rules-based and GenAI experiences that connect customers to relevant content or sales teams.
  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor campaign performance and provide insightful reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement personalization campaigns.
  • Track, analyze, and report on visitor behavior using tools like GA4, SEMrush, and Hotjar.
  • Manage vendor partners for user experience, content creation, and analytics.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans with milestones and deliverables.
  • Own the creation of a measurement operating model for executive dashboards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years related experience in managing large, global, digital projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to read HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript; and communicate effectively with developers.
  • Experience using enterprise-class digital marketing tools like Sitecore and Eloqua.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Positive energy and a growth mindset with a focus on win-win outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with A/B testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with chatbot technologies and marketing automation tools.
