About the position

Lipscomb University is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to join our dynamic University Marketing team. This role requires a professional capable of strategic thinking, planning, and execution. The Digital Marketing Manager will support the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media advertising, content, analytics, budget management, and reporting to drive engagement and enrollment. This position will conduct market research and analysis to assess market demand for new programs and recommend marketing budgets. The Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in executing day-to-day marketing activities to support revenue goals and maintain a strong digital presence in a competitive landscape. The Digital Marketing Manager will create comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the university's goals and objectives. This includes taking leadership in developing and presenting digital marketing strategies, ensuring they are engaging and easily understood from stakeholders' perspective. The role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing paid digital media campaigns across platforms such as Google AdWords, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. Additionally, the manager will conduct market research and analysis to assess market demand for new programs, recommending marketing budgets for paid digital marketing based on findings and strategic insights. The position requires analyzing marketing data to measure the success of campaigns and present actionable insights. The Digital Marketing Manager will prepare and present creative briefs to guide the development of digital advertising content, manage digital marketing budgets, and work closely with internal departments and external partners to conceptualize and execute high-impact digital marketing campaigns. Collaboration with the marketing team to integrate digital advertising strategies with overall marketing efforts is essential, as is managing multiple projects and paid media accounts simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliverables. Establishing paid digital marketing best practices and mentoring a digital strategist will also be key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the university's goals and objectives.
  • Take leadership in developing and presenting digital marketing strategies, ensuring they are engaging and easily understood from stakeholders' perspective.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize paid digital media campaigns across Google AdWords, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to assess market demand for new programs, and recommend marketing budgets for paid digital marketing based on findings and strategic insights.
  • Based on marketing research, develop audience personification to tailor campaigns effectively.
  • Analyze marketing data to measure the success of campaigns and present actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present creative briefs to guide the development of digital advertising content.
  • Manage digital marketing budget(s) as appropriate.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to conceptualize and execute high-impact digital marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate digital advertising strategies with overall marketing efforts.
  • Manage multiple projects and paid media accounts simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliverables.
  • Establish paid digital marketing best practices and elevate current templates, reports, and workflows.
  • Mentor and manage a digital strategist, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Requirements

  • Expertise in digital marketing platforms such as Google AdWords, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or comparable educational credentials.
  • Leadership experience in managing and mentoring staff or interns.
  • Proficiency with LookerStudio, Google Analytics, SEMRush, or equivalent tools, and demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies.
