About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager for the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the organization's website. This role focuses on building and updating web pages, implementing SEO strategies, and improving site functionality to ensure an engaging and accessible user experience. The position requires innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and strong communication skills to achieve website performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and update new show, event, and brand pages in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage website functionality and troubleshoot issues with the digital marketing team and website agency.
  • Ensure landing pages meet campaign objectives in partnership with paid media.
  • Identify opportunities for improved website performance through accessibility best practices and A/B testing.
  • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and HotJar, providing regular reports on key metrics.
  • Leverage stakeholder and user feedback to identify website pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Define and prioritize UX/UI enhancements to optimize user flow and increase engagement.
  • Implement and report on SEO strategies to grow search traffic and conversions.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize web pages and content for organic search rankings.
  • Track and monitor keyword ranking positions and devise integrated marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of four years' experience managing a website in a results-driven marketing environment.
  • Proven experience in website marketing and all aspects of SEO.
  • Strong understanding of website marketing best practices, user experience, and accessibility.
  • Knowledge of content management systems and basic web development (HTML and CSS).
  • Experience using Google Analytics (GA4), Semrush, and Hotjar.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience and passion for live entertainment.
  • Google Analytics certification preferred.
  • GA4 and Google Tag Manager Certifications preferred.
