The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing the overall email strategy and managing the websites for Woodward Camps, including but not limited to Woodward PA and Woodward West. As a member of the Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Team, reporting directly to the Director of Woodward Camps Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will bring to life the Woodward brand through email campaigns, optimizing website user interfaces, writing web copy, and managing SEO with a goal to drive guest conversion into Woodward products. This role is a key member of the Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Team as they collaborate with key stakeholders across departments at Woodward PA, Woodward West, and Woodward Global. This role is preferably based in Park City, UT, with regular travel to Woodward PA and Woodward West during the summer months. The proposed annual salary is $85,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Annual Go-to-Market Plan by identifying innovative and on-brand opportunities to bring the camp story to life across Email and website channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external agency partners to integrate opportunities into the annual go-to-market plan.
  • Ensure that marketing initiatives align with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
  • Develop and implement dashboard reporting & communication strategy illustrating channel progress towards leading lagging KPIs.
  • Plan, develop, and execute the annual, monthly, and weekly email strategy and calendar for multiple Woodward locations; Woodward PA and Woodward West.
  • Manage and write email copy to ensure messaging consistency for each campaign beat and align email content to website & social media.
  • Procure, schedule, and send Woodward branded emails from backend CRM software.
  • Ensure that CRM marketing strategies align with the various Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Channels.
  • Review monthly and weekly CRM reports, adjust strategy and provide user experience and sales-related optimizations based on insights.
  • Have ownership of Woodward Camps websites - WWPA, WW West and World of Woodward.
  • Develop and execute the annual channel plan for Woodward websites to support overall Woodward Marketing and Sales campaigns to drive audiences through the sales funnel and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
  • Perform daily website content updates via backend CMS.
  • Manage and write website copy and blog posts to ensure messaging consistency for each campaign beat, SEO optimization, and align website content to emails & social media.
  • Collaborate daily with the digital agency.
  • Review monthly and weekly website reports and provide user experience and sales-related optimizations.
  • Perform other marketing or Woodward related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with email marketing, CRM management, and website maintenance, preferably in the sports, camps, or events industry.
  • Familiarity with skateboarding, BMX, Scooter, Parkour, Roller Skate and summer-based action sports in general with a strong passion for the industry.
  • Previous experience and ability to work in an environment with children preferred.
  • Proven track record in delivering on marketing objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities and simultaneous deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Teams), Zoom, Keynote, content management systems, Customer Relations Management CRM programs, HTML, and marketing tools/software.
