About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the design, development, and execution of marketing campaigns specifically tailored for B2C communications related to the client's Clinical Solutions products. Reporting directly to the Director of Campaign Operations, this position requires a deep understanding of interactive marketing and campaign automation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product marketing managers to create, launch, and optimize digital campaigns using the Adobe Campaign platform. This role is essential in ensuring that marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives and effectively engage the target audience. In this position, the Digital Marketing Manager will oversee a team of three direct reports, guiding them in their professional development while ensuring that campaign goals are met. The manager will consult with product marketing managers to gather insights on campaign requirements and success metrics, leading the development and deployment of campaigns. This includes interfacing with various stakeholders such as marketing teams, vendors, and agencies to communicate key deliverables, technical specifications, and production requirements for all campaign components. The role also involves maintaining and tracking creative assets, performing quality assurance on all creative executions prior to launch, and monitoring campaign performance post-launch. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for communicating key milestones and managing expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle. Additionally, the manager will identify potential delivery risks and propose solutions to mitigate them. Technical development tasks such as creating and editing HTML and CSS templates, quality checking customer targeting and list segmentation, and managing the overall campaign delivery schedule will also be part of the responsibilities. Staying current with new media technology and trends in B2C email marketing is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage three direct reports
  • Consult with product marketing managers to understand overall business objectives and identify campaign requirements and success metrics
  • Lead the development and deployment of campaigns, interfacing between marketing team, vendors, and agencies to identify, understand, and communicate key deliverables, technical specifications, production, and reporting requirements for all campaign components
  • Gather, maintain, and track creative assets
  • QA all creative executions prior to launch
  • Monitor and troubleshoot campaign creative post-launch
  • Communicate key campaign milestones, progress/delivery status, and manage expectations
  • Identify potential delivery risks and communicate/propose solutions
  • Perform technical development tasks, including creating/editing HTML and CSS templates
  • QC customer targeting and list segmentation
  • Manage overall campaign delivery schedule based on key dates
  • Stay current with new media technology, trends in B2C email marketing, and emerging media

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, IT, mathematics, or other related subject area
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a digital marketing, online marketing, interactive marketing, or eChannel marketing role
  • Technical experience with marketing automation tools (Adobe Campaign, Pardot, Marketo, etc.), CRM systems (SalesForce, Siebel, etc.), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
  • Experience in delivering complex automated campaigns in support of product launches and customer relationship building
  • Strong time-management and project prioritization skills, with a track record of delivering complex programs on time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on collaboration and project management
