About the position

Hoekstra Companies is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to enhance their brand presence through digital and external marketing initiatives. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns, manage projects, and align strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development of marketing plans and budgets for multiple locations.
  • Research digital trends and implement them into marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the development of content for websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Maximize total spend for external marketing for business locations.
  • Develop external marketing plans for locations, strengthening brand presence in each area.
  • Create and execute strategies for multiple channels, such as email, social media, SEO, and PPC.
  • Work with all divisions to gather information and develop strategies and campaigns with outside marketing firms.
  • Use analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance.
  • Plan, implement, and optimize campaigns to meet goals.
  • Research and analyze the competitive marketplace to set strategic pricing and offers.
  • Utilize sales information to review and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Handle all external marketing communications and promotions in line with company values and brand standards.
  • Work closely with outside vendors and manufacturer representatives for traditional media, graphic design, promotional products, and digital marketing.
  • Oversee and update location websites with relevant content and industry updates.
  • Update printed brochures and handouts to support assigned departments.
  • Manage specific location social media accounts, posting content regularly and interacting with customers.
  • Supply outside marketing firm with budgets and updated branding information.
  • Order and oversee all location decals, graphics, and signage.
  • Maintain communication between locations/branches.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with product management principles is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies and platforms.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of performance marketing techniques, including analytics and SEO best practices.
  • Basic understanding of HTML is beneficial for content management tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects.
