About the position

College Raptor is seeking a qualified Digital Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives aimed at assisting students, parents, and school counselors in the college discovery and planning process. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and driving increased web traffic through strategic digital marketing efforts. The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing, content, tech, and business development, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and executing digital media campaigns that resonate with our target audience. You will coordinate and optimize engagement with College Raptor's digital content, manage end-to-end digital projects, and establish a robust web presence to enhance brand awareness. Maintaining a strong online voice through social media is crucial, as is liaising with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms. You will also be tasked with suggesting and implementing direct marketing methods to boost profitability, monitoring ROI and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of our marketing strategies. Staying current with digital media developments and SEO best practices is essential, as is coordinating the scheduling and procedures for the SEO team. Additionally, you will manage our affiliate network and onsite ads, conduct website user flow analysis, and respond to customer service inquiries from website users. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making adaptability and a proactive approach key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals

  • Track and be responsive to customer service inquiries from website users
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in digital marketing
  • Experience with visual communication principles
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communication, or relevant field

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEMRush, ahrefs, Adsense, MailShake, SendInBlue, ScreamingFrog, survey tools, Wordpress
  • Additional qualifications in web design or graphic design
  • Located in the Iowa City area (flexible with remote work as necessary)
