About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at Scientia Vascular will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and manage the company's online communication strategy. This role focuses on enhancing brand awareness and audience engagement through digital channels, including social media and email marketing. The position also involves public relations management to shape the organization's public image and expand its presence in the biosciences sector in Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Apply digital expertise to influence and create the evolution of omni-channel strategies.
  • Identify key segments to support and drive customers through the buyer's journey.
  • Compile, maintain, and segment email lists to personalize emails and improve engagement.
  • Work in partnership with designers and copywriters to optimize email and social creative based on best practices.
  • Design, write, optimize, and execute simpler creative that supports the company's marketing goals when needed.
  • Devise and execute A/B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements.
  • Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
  • Regularly identify trends and email and social marketing strategies from other leading global B2B brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of social media accounts including LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Monitor and report on web traffic, including managing and reporting on Google Analytics.
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies to promote products or services.
  • Plan and host events such as press conferences, exhibitions, and open days.
  • Write press releases, speeches, articles, and case studies where needed.
  • Grow Scientia Vascular's presence in the local community and government leadership as a leader in the biosciences in Utah.
  • Identify available paid media placements across the medical device industry and select those that best reach our target audience.
  • Purchase ad space or time on identified, third-party media platforms, such as editorial, print, and digital.
  • Manage trafficking assets and tracing performance for reporting back to leadership with the ability to make recommendations for adjustment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels.
  • Experience in CRM platforms and marketing and social automation platforms, preferably HubSpot and/or Salesforce.
  • Proven experience managing an email and social marketing program.
  • Proficient in content creation, strategy, Google Analytics, email marketing, and paid social advertising.
  • Must be strategic, possess a strong attention to detail, demonstrate good writing and editing skills, and have exceptional organization.
  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance in regulatory regimes.
  • Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database.
  • Experience building an email marketing campaign from scratch.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, A/B Testing, and other CMS.
  • Proficient in data analytics to determine important data and be able to suggest improvements.
