About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at Human Appeal is responsible for leading the digital marketing team and executing hands-on tasks across various digital channels. This role combines strategic leadership with direct involvement in campaign execution, focusing on driving engagement, donations, and enhancing the organization's online presence. The successful candidate will manage and mentor a team of specialists while actively participating in content creation, performance analysis, and optimization of digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive engagement, conversions, and donations across all digital channels.
  • Participate in campaign execution, including setting up ads, drafting email sequences, and optimizing content for SEO.
  • Manage key aspects of digital marketing campaigns, such as Google Ads, social media ads, and content distribution.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to align digital strategies with broader organizational objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of specialists while being directly involved in daily operations.
  • Engage in content creation, including writing copy for digital ads and social media posts.
  • Monitor digital marketing performance across all channels and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct A/B testing on various campaign elements to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure digital marketing efforts align with organizational goals.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and apply new techniques to enhance campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, including hands-on experience with campaign execution and performance optimization.
  • At least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO tools, and CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Google Analytics, Digital Marketing) is preferred.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
