About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager will act as a key digital marketing expert within the Digital team at Troon, responsible for supporting various digital marketing tools and strategies. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments and external agencies to ensure effective digital marketing efforts that drive significant ROI for clients. The manager will oversee the execution and analysis of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they are well-planned and executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize paid marketing campaigns from conception to launch and reporting for the corporate brand.
  • Create paid campaigns for golf and hospitality clients, including research, landing page creation, and collaboration with the design team.
  • Measure and analyze campaigns on KPIs using vendor-specific dashboards and Google Analytics.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to Digital Sales Managers (DSMs) and clients based on data and insights.
  • Support Marketing Coordinators on social media and reputation management.
  • Ensure that all client reputation channels are current and up to date.
  • Automate reporting for digital tools and disseminate information to the marketing team for all clients.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to accomplish business and client goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships with specific digital platforms and provide training to team members.
  • Enhance presentation and leadership skills through recommended sessions and opportunities.
  • Create case studies to demonstrate the value of digital marketing efforts and encourage future work.
  • Execute keyword research, trend reviews, and craft articles for clients.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in social and paid digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Experience with social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite.
  • Understanding of various paid marketing channels including paid search and social network advertising.
  • Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaigns (organic and paid).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google My Business.
  • Ability to build reports on social media and SEM engagement metrics and provide insights.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to create professional presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to manage projects end-to-end.
