About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of digital marketing content for the college. This role includes managing social media channels, creating digital content, and overseeing marketing campaigns while ensuring brand integrity. The manager also assists with emergency communications and provides training to internal clients on digital media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the college's various social media channels, including planning content and facilitating direct communications with the audience.
  • Develop and curate digital content, seeking out new content streams and incorporating industry trends into digital platforms.
  • Oversee the development and scheduling of digital and social media campaigns in conjunction with collegewide promotional efforts.
  • Serve as the voice of CCAC on social media, engaging with the audience and responding to queries.
  • Manage social media analytics and adjust strategies to better engage the target audience.
  • Produce promotional videos, including storyboarding, scripting, filming, and editing.
  • Assist in commercial filming projects and campaign photo shoots.
  • Serve as the in-house photographer for on-campus events and college functions.
  • Assist with the dissemination of emergency and crisis communications, operating at a high level of confidentiality.
  • Advise and provide professional digital marketing training to internal constituents.
  • Supervise work-study students and interns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic/digital design, or related field.
  • Minimum four years' experience in digital marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Prior experience with video production, social media, and graphic design required.
  • Photography experience is a plus.
